Alicia Racovolis is an interior designer working internationally and based in Paris. With an academic background in art history, specialising in seventeenth to nineteenth-century decorative arts, her work is shaped by a deep appreciation for the enduring beauty of historical interiors and the quiet power of objects, materials and atmosphere. Her approach is guided by a sensitivity to feeling and timelessness. Drawing from the richness of European decorative traditions, Alicia creates interiors that are calm, layered and deeply considered, spaces where texture, light and craftsmanship come together to form environments that feel both elegant and lived-in. Each project unfolds through a careful process of curation, where historical references, contemporary life and the character of a place are brought into dialogue. Working across high-end residential and commercial spaces, Alicia approaches each interior with a thoughtful and intuitive eye. Her work often brings together bespoke elements, carefully sourced pieces and artisanal craftsmanship, creating interiors that feel collected over time.
With an international outlook, Alicia collaborates closely with clients, artisans and specialist makers to realise spaces that prioritise atmosphere, authenticity and enduring quality. The result is a body of work defined by quiet refinement and a sensitivity to the emotional experience of interior space. “For me, interior design is about creating environments that feel timeless and deeply atmospheric. I am interested in spaces that evoke a sense of calm and permanence, where materials, objects and light come together in a way that feels both intuitive and enduring.”
